Does the Talking Bible® read through the whole Bible?
Yes. The Talking Bible® plays continuously from chapter to chapter. When a book ends, the next book begins playing. When a testament ends, the Talking Bible® continues playing from the beginning of the next testament. (Check the product description to see whether the Talking Bible® in your language includes both the Old and New Testament.)
Does the Solar Talking Bible® require batteries?
No. The Solar Talking Bible is easy-to-use both on and off the grid. A sturdy solar panel on the back charges the Talking Bible. It does not need replacement batteries, charges in less than eight hours of direct sunlight, and plays for two hours when fully charged! The solar-powered Talking Bible can also be charged by a Micro USB Type B cable connected to a 5 volt USB power source. A USB cable and power source are NOT included.
Does the Battery Talking Bible® require batteries?
Yes. The Battery Talking Bible takes three standard AA batteries, and runs for hours! It is the choice for anyone who requires extended use without charging or who prefers the security of changing batteries when needed. The battery compartment is easily accessible on the side of the Talking Bible. The Battery Talking Bible will also play while connected by a Micro USB Type B cable to a 5 volt USB power source. A USB cable and power source are NOT included.
Does the Talking Bible® include headphones?
No. The 3.5mm audio jack is compatible with headphones and speakers. But the Talking Bible package does not include headphones.
Does the Talking Bible play nonstop through the entire Bible?
Sort of. The Talking Bible plays nonstop from one chapter to the next, and from the end of one book to the next book. It loops at the end of each testament. For instance, after the end of the book of Revelation, the Talking Bible continues playing from the beginning of the Gospel of Matthew. If your Talking Bible includes both the Old and New Testament, the two testaments will loop separately.
The Talking Bible will play continuously without interaction until it runs out of power. Both the Battery Talking Bible and Solar Talking Bible will run out of power before playing through the complete Old or New Testament. If you want to play continuously without charging or replacing batteries, you can connect the Talking Bible by a Micro USB Type B cable to a 5 volt USB power source. A USB cable and power source are NOT included.See our collection of Talking Bibles in languages from around the world →
